Ernest A. Gralia, III

Principal
Ernie oversees and monitors all aspects of The Gralia Group’s operations including fiscal management, with an emphasis on development operations. He shares oversight and monitoring responsibilities and duties with his sister Carole Ann Veratti. Ernie has more than thirty years of experience in real estate development, construction, marketing, and management, having started in 1972 with E. A. Gralia Construction Co., Inc., a family-owned company. Gralia Construction has built multifamily housing (apartments and condominiums), hotels, nursing and health care facilities, assisted living communities, professional office buildings and condominiums, schools, and retail, commercial, manufacturing and industrial facilities. In addition to his involvement with Gralia Construction, Ernie has been actively involved in the development, management, ownership, and operation of The Arbors assisted living communities and child care centers as well as multifamily housing and commercial real estate properties. Ernie graduated from Western New England College with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration.
Carole Ann Veratti

Carole Ann (Gralia) Veratti

Principal
Carole, along with her brother Ernie Gralia, oversees and monitors all aspects of The Gralia Group’s operations including fiscal management. Her emphasis is on marketing, management, and child care operations. Carole has more than thirty years experience in real estate development, construction, marketing, and management. Carole has been actively involved in the development, management, ownership, and operation of The Arbors assisted living communities and child care centers as well as multifamily housing and commercial real estate properties. Carole has served as the IREM Committee’s secretary in the past, and holds an IREM Accredited Resident Manager (ARM) Certification. She is a preschool and infant/toddler teacher certified by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Department of Early Education and Care. As well, Carole is a licensed real estate broker in Massachusetts, Connecticut, and Rhode Island, is a Designated Realtor of the Greater Springfield Board of Realtors, and has been involved in the residential and commercial real estate market since 1985.
Bonnie Gralia

Bonnie Gralia

Systems Executive
Bonnie has been a member of The Gralia Group team for more than thirty years. She has performed accounting, payroll, computer and information technology, and management functions. Bonnie is currently a Systems Executive. Her responsibilities include overseeing the development, selection, implementation, and maintenance of financial, accounting, and business systems required to support the various assisted living and other facilities and their operations including policies, procedures, and controls. She works closely with the facilities’ office management departments on matters relating to accounting, billing, collection, and revenue production.
Cindy Redin

Cynthia A. Redin, Esq.

In-house Counsel
Cindy joined The Gralia Group in 1977. She serves as in-house counsel and oversees corporate administrative and legal functions. Cindy’s responsibilities include investor relations and reporting, regulatory compliance and reporting oversight, and involvement in financing, development, and management activities. She is an attorney licensed in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, and is a member of the Massachusetts Bar Association and the Massachusetts Real Estate Bar Association. Cindy graduated cum laude from the Western New England School of Law with a Juris Doctor degree, and was a member of the Western New England Law Review while in law school. She graduated summa cum laude from Elms College with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Paralegal Studies.
Mary Phaneuf

Mary Phaneuf

Regional Marketing Director
Mary brings to The Gralia Group over twenty-five years of real estate marketing and management experience. As the Regional Marketing Director, she manages the marketing, rental, and sales operations for The Gralia Group. Mary is responsible for leading and managing the development, coordination, implementation, and execution of marketing, rental, and sales strategies, programs, plans, promotions, and activities; and monitoring and analyzing progress toward achieving and maintaining project-based census goals and objectives. She also monitors and manages compliance with governmental programs including the low income housing tax credit, HOME, and MassHealth programs. Mary graduated from Holyoke Community College with an Associate’s Degree in early childhood education and attended the University of Massachusetts. She holds an IREM Accredited Residential Management (ARM) designation and a C3P (Certified Credit Compliance Professional) designation for the low income housing tax credit program, is a certified Alzheimer’s care giver trainer, and holds a Massachusetts real estate salesperson license.
Sue Egan

Sue Egan

Employment and Benefits Administrator
Sue has been with The Gralia Group since 2003. Prior to joining The Gralia Group, Sue had more than twenty years of law office experience with a primary focus in the area of real estate. Her responsibilities for The Gralia Group include managing the collection, coordination, distribution, and reporting of data associated with the employment process for all of the facilities; administering of corporate benefit plans and enrollment; and performing human resource, payroll administration, and computer information technology functions. Sue also oversees the facilities’ office management departments with respect to employment and benefit related matters, and provides administrative support for key executives at the corporate headquarters.
Jason Robertson

Jason Robertson

Vice President of Acquisitions and Development
Jason joined The Gralia Group in 2001. He is involved in all aspects of project development including site selection, project feasibility, project entitlement, market analysis, and pro forma analysis. He also provides support for oversight and monitoring of The Gralia Group’s operations. Jason is a graduate of Western New England College with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration. He is a licensed real estate salesperson in Massachusetts.
